Ryan Lowe Striker 2012-2013

Liverpool-born Ryan (d.o.b.18 September 1978) spent just one season at the Dons, 2012-13, after being signed from Sheffield Wednesday by Karl Robinson for an undisclosed fee. His 12 goals for the club made him the season’s joint top scorer with Dean Bowditch.

Ryan’s most notable day with the MK Dons was, ironically, at a 0-0 draw, where he had a hat-trick of disallowed goals.

His worst day came in the 3-0 home defeat against Bournemouth in February 2013 when he was sent off  for a professional foul on Tommy Elphick, a tackle that he publicly apologised for.

He left the Dons in the summer of 2013 to join Tranmere Rovers, citing family reasons for wanting to move back
north – MK Dons are the only southern-based club he has played at.

His earlier career includes spells with the Liverpool and Southport youth teams, Shrewsbury, Chester, Crewe, Stockport County, Sheffield  Wednesday and Bury.
